WOW! Round of applause to Gravity director Alfonso Cuaron because DAYUM this looks good! Gravity just has one of those trailers you can't stop watching because its so well shot. Sandra Bullock is acting her ass off and the SFX look out of this world (no pun intended). Man its going to drive me nuts while I wait to see it because for us unfortunate film fans across the pond it won't hit UK theatres till November 8th. A solid month after its US release and in internet years it feels like an eternity trying to block out all the articles and videos telling us how spectacularly good or terribly disappointing it is. On a similar note visionary director James Cameron (Titanic, Avatar) saw Gravity at the Venice Film Festival and described it as 'The Best Space Film Ever Done'. So I am saying its the former and it should be a spectacularly good film or I hope so at the very least.
Warner Bros. Synopsis:
Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski (Clooney). But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalski completely alone—tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness.The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
